7.  Veronica/Logan from Veronica Mars


The weird thing about this ship for me was that I didn't even realize I was shipping them until this moment.  I just slowly began to not mind Logan as the series went on, and then enjoyed the scenes they had together...then all of a sudden out of nowhere they were kissing and I was very very happy.  They're just so fun together, and even when they hurt each other they clearly love each other very much.  Season Three was painful for me, on many levels, and their relationship ending for good (at least on screen...yay for fanfic!) was the hardest part.  I heart them very much.

6.  Mal/Inara from Firefly and Serenity


I was never a Kaylee/Simon shipper...mostly because I HATE HATE HATE Kaylee.  But Mal/Inara?  Hooked from the first episode.  One of my biggest regrets from the series ending and the movie not being successful enough is that we'll never get to see these two on screen together as these characters again.  Their chemistry was undeniable, and you felt every minute of their relationship.  When Inara cries in Heart of Gold because she knows Mal's slept with her old friend, I hurt for her.  Maybe we'll get something more in the comics?  One good thing, at least we never have to see them get together only to then see one of them DIE.  DAMN YOU JOSS WHEDON (more in a minute...) ::sigh::

5.  Lee/Kara from Battlestar Galactica


I go back and forth with these two.  One day I'll be positive I've learned my lesson, they're just bad for each other and no I don't ship them anymore...and then they'll have a moment on the show and I just am in a puddle all over again.  Jamie Bamber and Katee Sackhoff are just too hot together.  Yes, the characters have some SERIOUS issues, and no, I'm not sure they'll ever get past them enough for this to ever really work...but they're fun to watch together.  I can't help it.

4.  John Crichton/Aeryn Sun from Farscape


JUST LOOK AT THEM!  So much hawtness.  Shipped em from the first moment I saw them together.  I just couldn't help it.  They're both so beautiful, have so much chemistry, and their banter was just so much fun.  The best part of Farscape was that they knew how to give you what you wanted, but in a way that was so very sci fi that you weren't necessarily sure it was a good thing.  10.5/Rose & 10/Rose?  Psh.  That's all off screen now.  But with Aeryn and the two John's we had to watch it all...and then deal with the aftermath of one dying, and Aeryn being unable to deal with the other while she grieved.  We got them together, and beautifully in the end...but we paid for it first.

3.  Harry/Ginny & Ron/Hermione


No, I couldn't just choose one of the two so they both go on the list.  I waited very impatiently for both couples to get together in the books, and cheered when they did.  Yes, I thought the epilogue was as cheesy and over the top as the next person, but I still adore them both.  And whenever I reread the books I still get a huge smile on my face when they finally get together. Cannot wait to see them on screen now!

2.  Fred/Wesley from Angel


DAMN YOU JOSS WHEDON.  Probably the first couple I really sat and begged for every week.  I hated Gun and Lilah purely because they came between them.  Every week I left the episode a little disappointed they still didn't appear anywhere near getting together.  And then one day, this happens...and the next week she was dead.  OMG, SO NOT FAIR.  I will never forgive Joss Whedon for this. 

1.  Doctor/Rose from Doctor Who (though honestly, if you didn't know that you shouldn't be reading my LJ anymore 'cause you fail)

I loved them when he was all big eared and broody...


I loved them when he turned pretty after dying for her...


I cried like a baby when they had to say goodbye...


And I thought I would explode from joy when they found each other again...



And even in the end, when there were two and one had to sacrifice his own happiness for hers, I loved them, even though it hurt like hell...


At least on the bright side we finally got this...

Russel T. Davies learned his lessons from Joss Whedon well.  How to give you what you want, while twisting the knife at the same time.  Still, he gave me the most amazing love story I have ever seen and I will forever be greatful to him.  I watched them love each other through a regeneration, and through his inability from fear, and his own issues to love her fully and openly.  Yet, at the same time he showed her and everyone they met on their travels that he loved her more than anything every single day.  Even when she was trapped in a parallel universe he couldn't hide it.  They sacrificed everything for each other, time and time again...and though we didn't get the happily ever after we wanted we can live happy knowing that there will always be a Rose and The Doctor out there living their life together...in a place where Steven Moffat or any other show runner after him won't be able to ruin it for us.

This is the ship to end all ships for me.  If I ever get more obsessed with a ship than I have been, still am, and probably will be for ages to come, as I have with this one?  I really will need to be committed.
